Visual Art and Booklets from the Land

In as much as I can, I access recycled materials, vegetable dyes, and reclaimed wood, fabric and leather in the creation of these pieces. I make my own glue at home -- non-toxic, simple, strong and fun!!  The wood that is a backing for some of the prints are off-cuts from a local live-edge furniture maker.  Frames are bought from second-hand shops.  Prints that are encausted as a preservation/ finishing technique utilize local beeswax.

As I complete more booklets and prints, I will continue adding to this page.

Prints, cards and other creations are available for purchase.

Please see each category below for specific pieces, prices and sizing.  Please note that prices do not include shipping, which is a separate cost, to be paid by the purchaser.

ORIGINAL ART CARDS

The following photos are samples of art cards.  Each card is printed on heavy card-stock, and blank inside.

There are no envelopes included.  As the cards are intended to remind us of our connection to Nature, and will hopefully serve as art when their function as a card is complete, I have chosen to exclude envelopes as a conservation measure, and encourage folks to consider the impact of their paper-use choices.

Small Nature Cards

The cards vary in size slightly from one another, and generally hover around 3.5" x 5" from edge to edge.  The printed photo is smaller, and is generally 2.25"x3.5".

Scenes are a mixture of forest, ocean, meadow and sky-scapes, and highlights/ up-close of leaves, bark, stones, driftwood, shells, and water.

Individual cards sell for $2/per.  Cards are also sold in sets:

10 cards = $20

20 cards = $35

30 cards = $50

50 cards = $75

100 cards = $120

Unique Nature Cards

Each of these cards vary in size, though most fold to 4"x6" or 5"x7".  They include unique clasps, and are hand sewn.

Individual cards sell for $7/per.  Cards are also sold in small sets:

5 cards = $35

10 cards = $70

Due to the uniqueness of each card and the smaller volume produced, you may request specific themes (forest, seaside/ ocean, sky, leaves, trees...).

BOOKLETS

These lovely booklets are in-progress.  Each has a handcrafted, unique cover, along with crocheted frames for each page, and linen binding.  When I was originally printing booklets for a Kickstarter campaign, the photocopying was incorrectly done.  Rather than throw out and waste the pages, I requested to keep what was misprinted, and instead turned the misprints into creative (albeit labor intensive) booklets of a different kind.

Quotes inside the book are from one of the trilogies I am currently writing -- Journeys with the Mother Teacher.
